It is getting pretty late for applying to summer festivals, but you should
try Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, NC. It is a pretty good
festival and they generally give out pretty decent scholarships and work
study. There are also a lot of good fellowship festivals like NOI, NRO,
Tanglewood, and Sarasota, but most of those app. deadlines have passed.

Subject: Why no messages?

I haven't gotten any messages ina few days. What can be wrong? Also, I
have another question. Do any of you know of a summer music program for
college students that is cheap or allows for a work-study thing? I would
really like to do something with music this summer to keep improving, but
most summer programs are far too expensive. I live in Illinois, which
makes traveling anywhere east expensive (the last time I checked it cost
about $500 to fly to NY, for example). I don't have a car so driving is
out of the question, and I'm not 21 so I can't rent a car either so if I do
fly anywhere it has to be near an airport. I want to go to a quality
program, but I have a serious cash flow problem. Can anybody help? Thank
you.
