I am looking for the music for a piece by Alan Shulman called Rendezvous
for Clarinet and String Quartet. It was written for Benny Goodman to play
with the Stuyvesant String Quartet in 1947. Shulman was cellist
of the quartet. I know of two recordings--one by Richard Stoltzman and
one with Artie Shaw, but I would like to have a copy of the music for a
research project on the classical pieces written for Benny Goodman.
Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I have a few solid leads, but am
still looking. Thanks so much!!
