I'd like to announce a new member of the illustrious
Clarinet Help Team, Diane Cawein.

Diane is Assistant Professor of Clarinet and clarinetist of the Moran
Woodwind Quintet at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Music.
Prior to that position, she was a member of the Florida Orchestra, the
Naples Philharmonic, the Tampa Bay Opera Orchestra, the Tallahassee
Symphony and the Chicago Civic Orchestra.

A native of Florida, Cawein received her bachelor of music degree from
the Florida State University, where she studied with Frank Kowalsky.
She continued her studies with Robert Marcellus at Northwestern
University where she received the master of music and graduate
certificate degrees. She returned to Florida State University to
pursue the doctor of music degree. Her primary research is focused on
nineteenth-century works for clarinet based on motives from Vincenzo
Bellini operas.

Diane joins a volunteer group of clarinetists, from high school band
to orchestra professionals, amateurs to recording artists, who have
volunteered to answer questions one-on-one with the clarinet
community. Their names are too many to mention now; they can all
be found at http://sneezy.mika.com/clarinet/Help . If you do not
have access to the WorldWideWeb, send a message to:
help_team@-----.com
to get a copy of the Help team pages.

Anyone can join the Help Team if they posses the following requirements:
1) ability to communicate via e-mail
2) friendly disposition
3) have a little time once in a while to answer questions
