I for one am not upset! I am grateful for the opportunity to exchange
ideas with people from around the world, professional and amateur,
without leaving my music studio. I've played all my life (I'm in my
fifties) and only in the last few years has the ability to learn
so much from such a wonderfully diverse group become possible.

When I had a question on Bugs there was a PhD to answer my question and
set my student's parents at ease. When there was a question on doubling
perhaps I could help someone else.

As with any group, you are not likely to be friends with all members or
agree on all matters. But IT'S THE VERY DIVERSITY THAT IS THE STRENGTH
OF THE GROUP. Please forgive my shouting, but we all need to hear this
above the backround noise of disagreement.

Ken is not my favorite poster.. I'm sure I bore many others to tears.
So what? That does not make either of us less valuable to the totality
of the group. I didn't care for the religous thread either, but I
believe in the power of the delete key, and am truly sorry to see
members whose writings I greatly enjoyed leave the group as a result.
Our loss. And theirs. In any roomfull of people there will be some you
probably don't like ...So what. Why dwell on that when there are so many
others to speak with.

Let me openly thank all of you for sharing your knowledge and love of
music with each other. We are classical, or jazz, or klezmer, beginner
or expert, teacher or student. We all love music and are willing to
devote time and energy to not only practicing our craft, but also
reading and writing about our passion. Please accept each others
differences. I welcome them.
