The Vandoren mouthpiece is not glass. It is the same blank as the Pomarico
and Mitchell
Lurie which are crystal. I believe O'brien is the only glass mouthpiece. I
have a Vandoren in my
collection. It is a Pomarico mouthpiece. What makes it unpopular are the
strange facings.
Same for the Pete Fountain. Enough with the glass mouthpieces already!
