Derek,
Pomarico makes the blanks for the Vandoren, Mitchell Lurie and any other
crystal mouthpieces.
O'brien makes a glass mouthpiece. The difference between the Pomarico,
Vandoren, Mitchell
Lurie and any others that may exist are the facings. I have tried them all
and the JC Products
facings are the only ones I feel comfortable with. Of course, this may be
personal, but I think
that crystal mouthpieces have not gained great popularity because of the way
in which they were
faced . The JC mouthpiece facings make them quite different.
