The Beethoven trio, Opus 87, originally for two oboes and English horn,
but a long time favorite of clarinetists is now available on my Web page
in MIDI and .MUS formats. My Web address is
http://chemistry.csudh.edu/oliver/clarmusi.htm
To give the trio its full due requires retards and fermatas at appropriate
points. After listening to it from its uploaded location I realize that it is
more dependent on interpretation of tempo, articulation and dynamics
than just about any other piece in my collection. I have not added those
features, but I expect great things from you folks and I figure that you're
all up to the task! As Wolfie said to me the other day (Billy Graham
says he talks to God every morning, but I haven't quite gotten into that
league), "What's wrong with you young folks, anyway, Ollie, can't you
improvise?" 8-)
Happy playing!
Oliver
