Clarinet by Voxman, Hal Leonard Publisher. The book is full of Bach, Handel
Baroque pieces, Suites, etc., in fact it should be titled Baroque studies
(no Classical period music in the book at all), but the name is really
Classical studies. The book is only $8. Highly, Highly recommended. I use
them for my High School Students, and they love them."

I agree 100%! My copy, which is falling apart, indicates I bought it in
December 1960 for only $2, when it was published by Rubank, may it rest in
peace. I'm glad to hear it's still in print. For those of you who haven't
seen it, the primary part of the book consists of the first four cello
suites complete (though the movements aren't always in the right order,
e.g. the Courante of Suite III is placed just before the concluding Gigue,
rather than third), the first violin partita complete, and individual
movements from all other unaccompanied violin and cello
suites/sonatas/partitas except the fifth cello suite, which I assume
wouldn't go over to clarinet very well. This is a desert island book.
Everyone should have it. That your high school students love it bodes
well for the future of music.
