There aren't too many women composers, but I know of at least one modern
female composer Su Lian Tan for the simple reason that she's my advisor.
Her work ranges from orchestral, brass quintet, solo piano, and solo
flute. If you want to know more, you can write me seperately. Oh, and
a second thought is that Tufts is trying to do an all women's composers
concert during the spring, so you could ask there for names.
