My vote for personal favorite goes to the recent recording that Mitchell
Lurie made for the "Eco Classics" label. I believe it was even nominated
for a grammy (for something having to do with the producer). As a former
teacher of mine said, Mitchell Lurie is like a bottle of fine wine.... He
just keeps on getting better with age. The other piece on this cd is the
Brahms quintet--which I think is even better than the mozart.
