For almost one month Nancy posted the article concerning arthritis. I
found a WWW-page of Leblanc clarinets, and they produce a model which
could be helpful for arthritic palyers:

The 1176PS shares the same playing characteristics as the standard
1176 model but features plateau keys specifically designed for the
younger player, doubler or even the arthritic player who may have
difficulty covering the standard open-tone-hole ring keys.
