Are you sure it isn't spelled "PEDLER"? If it is, they were a very
good manufacturer. I hve run across quite a few of their instruments,
which were, it seems, quite in vogue among studio musicians in New York
once upon a time. IMO they compare roughly in quality to the present-day
Buffet E-11.
