Resonance fingerings are a lot harder to smoothly use for younger students.
Yes, most all Pro players use them. And all good teachers teach them to
their most advanced High School Students, or College. I have students as
young as 12 that I have used resonance fingerings, but only to Youth
Orchestra quality students which I have many of.
