Hi everyone,

Actually, the album is called "A View From The Side". It was released (I
think) in 1995, and won the grammy for best instrumental arrangement (or
something like that). The song which you mention, "The Peacocks", features
Bob Efford on bass clarinet.

You should also check out the Bob Mintzer big band. I'm pretty sure he has
done a few cuts on bass but I don't have any of his recordings. A great
player/arranger, check it out!

By the way everyone, I'm preparing for a major update on the jazz clarinet
page for this weekend. In my plans are adding many new sites to the artists
listings, more links, a few articles, and a little different layout. Check
it out (well, in a little bit, give me a day or two) at:

As always, I welcome feedback and suggestions.

Thanks!

Mike
