okay, here goes. tracy (a he) is my friend here at UNT. he is a very
talented clarinetist and the nicest person I know. he would never do
anything to make anyone uncomfortable. i'm sure he had no idea that by
posting a scripture in his sig would cause dan to leave. tracy's sig is
just who he is. he's a christian, and he never asked anyone to agree. he
has only sent klarinet related messages. he only sent that one message
because he was getting so much hoopla about it. if you have a problem with
it, don't read it. he's not "shoving it down your throats." i also think
that a person's sig does not have to be related to the message. it is
supposed to relate to the person--to tell something about the person
sending the message. tracy is a devout christian with a lot of love in
his heart. he wants to share his love. it was never meant to be
preaching. i'm sorry that it made so many people uncomfortable. i'm
sorry that dan can't deal with it. please don't cause tracy to leave now.
i'm the one who introduced him to the list, and i think he likes being a
part of it. anyways, have a heart. (sounds corny, huh? sorry, it's
already started off to be a LOoooong day.)
