The word is "onanastic," derived from the name of Onan (Onan's name, not
surprisingly, was "Onan"). Onan is/was a character in the Torah/OT who (as
one translation, I think the King James, says) "spilled his seed upon the
ground," i.e. masturbated. Poor Onan is now moderately famous for what he
did: Onanism is the practice of masturbation, and onanastic means
masturbatory. Dorothy Parker named her pet bird Onan because he spilled
his seed upon the ground. This is probably more than you wanted to know
about the subject.
