The person Dan was withdrawing over was NOT making postings
unrelated to the subject! Please don't turn this into something it never
was! Also, Dan's decision is Dan's decision: as with everything else on
this list, all viewpoints are strictly those of the individuals. I think
it is a shame that Dan feels he must unsubscribe, but I also feel he is
over-reacting.

KEEP YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

1) There were NEVER religious postings; just elaborate signatures.
2) This whole discussion was NOT started by that person.

This would be a dangerous decision, in my view. Who will decide
what is "offensive"? The internet is the first true experiment in
unregulated free speech. Will it prove that free speech doesn't work?
We're all still feeling our way through this stage. I suggest that EVERYONE
turn your burners down to a low simmer and put the stew on the back burner.
