On sending this message to the list, I will do what I thought was
unthinkable. I am signing off the clarinet list.

I believe that in the four years that I have posted, my contributions
have had some beneficial effect. I'm reasonably knowledgeable,
articulate, and capable of giving a different slant to things.

But I will not stay on a list with a person who is sufficiently
religiously intolerant that he chooses to make postings that
are offensive to me.

It is difficult enough to have to deal with a Jesus freak on a
face to face basis, but at least one can walk away from this
sort of thing. On the list, the offensive messages just keep
coming in and I will not resort to having to waste my time to
expunge those that are so personally obnoxious.

So, will someone please advise me when Tracy is off the board
for good. Then I'll come back on and share my largesse, for
whatever it is worth.

I know Tracy. I remember him from the Spanish Inquisition where
reliosity was stuffed down people's throats, literally.

I remember him in 17th century Russia, 18th century Poland, 14th
century France, and Puritan America. People like him are simply
to be avoided.

Goodbye my friends. I'll be back when he is gone.
