I have been using Vandoren V12 #3.5 and 4 . I tried several packages of
Zonda in
3.5, 4 and 4.5 because so many people raved about them. The cane seemed to
have not resiliancy or projection. I used Grand Concert for several months
but
overall the consistency was no better than Vandoren and the best of the Grand
Concert was not as good as the best V12's. I'm still looking to find
something
better than Vandoren but I've almost given up. Has anyone had any long term
success with anything else?
