I have been using one for 1 and 1/2 years. I do not find any of the
problems spoken of below. Mine plays as well as any of the R13s that I
have owned, and better than most. I find it holds the sound at louder
volumes quite well and that I can play softly in the high register better
than on any other horn, perhaps because of the lack of pores in the
material. I have had several students purchase them as well, and no one so
far has had anything but good things to say about them.

I recommend them very highly!
