I'm a huge fan of his.

Don's a jazz musician, plays mainly a regular ol' Bb soprano, but uses
the bass clarinet occasionally with beautiful effect. He's got
three albums out, the latest one is Bug Music, a tribute to
Duke Ellington, the John Kirby Orchestra and Raymond Scott. Very
highly recommended, and doubled *my* fun since I have a thing for
Raymond Scott.

You'll actually find a lot more about both Don Byron and Raymond
Scott in the Klarinet archives.
