Edmund-
I was talking about Don a couple of weeks ago. My opinion: phenomenal
musician. I actually just saw him live with Joe Henderson. It was
great, I talked to him afterwards. He says he got his "vintage"
ligature in a garage sale! We talked about his influences, background,
etc. He's also a great bari-sax player!

Pick up Bug Music, No-Vibe Zone, Music for Six Musicians, Live at the
Knitting Factory, or my personal favorite "Tuskegee Experiments". I
really like this album because it's all his own music. Don is a great
jazz musician and I really love his klezmer stuff too!
I could talk about Don Byron forever. He's my new hero right now.
