Simon,

Thanks for reminding me about export models. The salesman (and it
WAS Feeling's on Rue de Rome -- that's the north/south street west
of Gare de l'Est) made
the comment that he also had models which were for export to the U.S.
Perhaps it was the difference in pitch -- but it was another factor that
put me off a bit about making a decision under less than the most relaxed
circumstances. That you had the determination to try out 25 and not
buy one (I assume) is commendable. I wish that I had the nerve to do the same.
