I have played both the buffet greenline as well as the clear plastic
clarinet that buffet makes (the model number slips my mind right now) and
both of them are superior instruments. The first greenline I played was
not as resonant, but I think it was just a bad horn, because several
others were every bit as good as the normal R-13. the clear clarinet is a
similar story....As a matter of fact, from what I have heard throught the
grapevine, Giora Feidman owns a clear clarinet and occasionally uses it in
live performances because he likes it so much.
