Hi all,

I am on the lookout for a 'real' clarinet to replace the plastic
one I currently own; I suppose something of intermediate+ quality, yet
at a reasonable price. Of course this precludes professional level
instruments, but I doubt that at my present level, I could truly
appreciate the difference that makes a professional quality instrument
what it is, in contrast to a good intermediate+ model. (you can correct
me if you feel I am wrong!). Also, funds are a limiting factor just
now, yet I do feel the need to step-up to something better than what I
am presently using -- something that I CAN grow with.

Anyway, I keep abreast of auctions and such, and I see a clarinet
listed in an upcoming auction.. listed as made by Henri Dubois, Paris.
Is anyone familiar with the maker? Would it even be worth my
attention?

Thanks for any information/advice,

Robert
