Dirk,
What is the pitch around your area (country), is it A@-----.
Don't get a 442 unless that is the standard pitch, or if your planing on
playing with a lot a bad string players.
I personally use the Buffet E-11 for all of my beginning students. Cost is
$500 from mail order co. in USA (the names can be furnished privately)
The wooden E-11 is treated not to crack, and does not have the cracking
problems that the Pro Clarinets have.
If you have internet- look up this topic on the "Klarinet archives", there
is a ton of info, and a lot of bull.
