I disagree. Everyone who wants to participate fully in the
information age needs to get full intenet access. In most places in the
United States, you can get an account with a local ISP for $19.95 a month
or less with unlimited access. Of course, you need a computer, too!
Starving college students can usually get access through their schools.
Using the internet saves me hours of time at work each week, and makes my
clarinet related research quicker and more fun. Pointing people to sneezy
(the frames are gone, by the way) is in the spirit of teaching them how to
do their own research. One could just as easily refer them to The Clarinet
magazine (you are getting that aren't you?) which includes ads from all the
leading vendors of clarinet related products.
So if you have a simple question and don't have web access, you might
mention that fact in the question.
I would add, that as far as I am concerned, questions from people outside
of the United States and Canada who may (in some cases) have less access
should be treated differently.
