I found the ratios interesting so I thought I would share those of my band
only not the whole school:

Flutes: 10 girls......0 guys
Oboe: 1 girl.....0 guys
Bassoon: 1 girl......0 guys
Clarinets: 14girls.....1 guy
Bass Clarinet: 2 girls.....0 guys
Alto Saxophone: 2 girls.....2 guys
Tenor Saxophone: 1 girl.....0 guys
Bari Sax: 0 girls.....1 guy
Horn: 3 girls.....2 guys
Trumpet: 2 girls.....5 guys
Trombone: 0 girls.....6 guys
Euphonium: 0 girls.....2 guys
Tuba: 0 girls.....3 guys
Percussion: 0 girls.....5 guys
Total: 36 girls.....27 guys

I also have one question. I just got the name of my solo for the solo
ensamble contest but won't recieve the music for another two weeks. I was
wondering if anyone had ever heard of or played the piece Promenade composed
by Delmas. Does anyone also know of any good recordings that might be out for
this piece.
