Oh boy...........

I know we don't live in a perfect world. But if I were a "minor" composer,
I would hope that any musician I enlist to play one of my pieces would
approach playing it with the same attention and care that they would
dedicate to a "major" composer's work. There are many pieces by "minor"
composers that would be sorely missed if they were taken away from us. How
many times have we gone to a woodwind quintet concert for example and heard
Bozza, Ibert Milhaud, Malcolm Arnold, as well as Francaix. Are these folks
"minor"? Are Hindemith, Nielsen or Barber, Berio, Villa-Lobos? I dunno.
