OK, OK

Everybody says I have a big mouth, but I really did a number on myself this
time!

I will research where one can obtain this book and post it when I find it. I
may be out of print, in which case we shall have to appeal to the owner of
the manuscript to republish (yikes). Anyhow I know some publishers. Give me a
month, I have several other businesses to attend to (and Clarinet).

Those of you who can't tell the difference between A and Bb timbre are
probably from the same camp that touted CD's as being superior to records.
Two instances where the inherent superiority of sound reproduction from vinyl
over CDs is apparent is both Clarinet and Piano (maybe because I play them
both). There may be physiological reasons why one could not hear the
difference, larger people have larger ear drums and ear bones (stapes etc.)
that do not respond to high frequencies as well. Women for instance can hear
very well in the high frequency range and as a result are superior judges of
high fidelity equipment (though seemingly less interested than men on the
average). Perhaps those who are arguing this fact should reveal their height
and wrist diameter (estimate of bone size) to let us know where their hearing
spectrum falls. I am 5'10" with a wrist diameter of 6.5" (small). I consider
my high frequency hearing excellent.

To make an assumption that a composer, such as Stravinsky or Brahms, was only
casually acquainted with the difference between an A and a Bb is naive and
insulting. You should not publicize such views. Sorry.
