It makes me cringe to think how many potential virtuosi we've lost because
Dad or Mom, or the band director, said "No, I don't want you to play (insert
your desire here) I want you to learn (insert what you got stuck with here.)
How many kids quit because they got tired of wrestling with a (blank) when
all they wanted was to play was a (blank.) All you future band directors,
Moms, and Dads....PAY ATTENTION, DARN IT!!! whew. I feel better now.
