Subj: Finding metal clarinets

Thanks to all for the really funny comments on lamps, metal clarinets,
etc. The recent Music Stand catalogue offers a clarinet lamp for about
$150, made from (I hope) a retired wood clarinet, so you don't have to
drill tone holes to make it work again.

Anyway, re: finding metal clarinets. I found my Penzel-Muller in a small
antique store somewhere in the California Gold Country (Highway 49).
I've found other clarinets in antique stores, but NOT in the trendy
areas, like Pasadena, or any artsy-craftsy areas. Look out in the
boondocks (sticks?).
