I always thought they looked kinda neat, but every one always told me that
the only thing they were good for would be to make a lamp out of one. I
was never completely sure if they were joking or not, but sure enough in
my door room is a "clarinet lamp" (very nice if I do say so myself) I
found it as a visual display in the suit department of the local Macy*s
where I had a summer job. (need a full pad job) I bought it off them for
$25 dollars, went to the hardware store and bought a lamp kit and a nice
piece of wood for a base, and *poof*. They really do make nice lamps....
