I had the (possibly mistaken) impression that Buffet used the
same set of serial numbers on all their clarinets. However, I have recently
seen two used Buffet bass clarinets listed for sale on the Internet that
had serial numbers in the 2x,xxx range. If they were part of the same
serial number series as listed on sneezy, it would mean they were made
before World War II. Possible, of course, but it didn't seem likely from
the descriptions.

Can anyone comment on this? Thanks.
