Mike,
I would propose adding to your list the following:
1. "Quintet in C" by Claude Arrieu, an important work written for
a quintet composed of Rampal, Pierlot, Lancelot, Coursier, and Hongne;
2. "Reflections on an Original Christmas Tune," by Norman Dello Joio;
3. "Dix-Sept Variations" by Damase, also (I believe) written for
the quintet composed of Rampal et al; and
4. "The Album of Madame Bovary" by Darius Milhaud. Although this
transcription by Ross Taylor of Milhaud's music from the film "Madame
Bovary" may not qualify for your list because it was not originally
composed for wind quintet, the work is a little treasure and should be on
every quintet performance list.
