Who was the principal clarinet palyer in the Boston Pops during the Fiedler
years? I just found a really good recording of the "Freischutz" overture with
Fiedler and the BPO, and the solo has that "Harold Wright sound," if you know
what I mean> :) It is very well-centered, and controlled, just like the
Brahms/Schumann disc I have. With that plug out of the way, I'll sign off,
anxiously awaiting any reply I can get. Thanks!

A female friend of mine, in one of her more bitter moments, told me in a letter
that "Men [were] like parking lots; most of the good ones are taken, and the
rest are handicapped." :)
