What does anyone know about a Carl Fischer clarinet? A former student of
mine was thinking of buying one from a friend who was cleaning out his
attic. I haven't seen it, and the only description I got was that is made
of wood and it is super-stuffy over the entire right hand section, so it
probably needs lots of mechanical work. It did pique my curiosity, though,
since I didn't know Fischer had ever marketed instruments under its own
name. Anyone have any info?
