If you are a Mac user then you might take a look at NIGHTINGALE
(http://www.halycon.com/musicware). Powerful, but IMHO easier to use than
FINALE.
The market leader in the UK is SIBELIUS, which is possibly as good as
notation programs get - but only available on an Acorn Risc platform.
