Could your tongue be too tense? I don't know, I'm mainly a flute player, and
I use double tonguing a lot. I couldn't live without it :). I can flutter
tongue, though, although my teacher and I have never discussed it so I could
be doing it wrong.

I think the original person said he could only double tongue about 100...keep
trying, say dig-guh a lot (try to annoy your family and friends :), and the
car is a great place to practice...
