I have played a cute peice of fluff called 'Romanian Fantasy' for
clarinet doubling on eefer and band. It is by a guy in the US named Al
Arnold. He lives, I believe, in New Jersey just across the river from New
York. You can probably contact him through the Musicians' Union or ASCAP.
I played it with the Kingsborough College Community Band. Their conductor
just retired but I'll bet if you write to them they's still be able to put
you in touch with Arnold (or at least with the conductor, Simeon Loring,
who now lives in Manhattan). I also did my own arrangement of the Polka
>From The Golden Age for eefer and piano. I hesitate to publish it however,
because of possible copyright infringements. However, I'm sure you can do
your own. It was not hard.
