Merry Christmas Dan (and everybody) -

Nothing very specific here but the new Cambridge book on the Mozart
Concerto (by Colin Lawson) mentions that the Stadler bros. applied for work
at Wallerstein in 1781, claiming they could play basset horn trios with
Raymund Griesbacher (player and maker of clarinets and b.h.'s, you probably
knew that). He also lists some books and articles on Stadler - if you don't
have the book I'll send them along for you.

Happy holidays
