There is no virus that an infect your system from simply reading e-mail.
If there is an attachment enclosed that is infected opening it could spread
a virus. Remember this next time someone tells you could get the Good
Times virus or what ever the current scare is. Over all your chances of
getting a virus are fairly small. From my involvement with the Alpena
(MI.) Users Group only two people that I no have contacted viruses. One
person got one from downloading pictures from an unmentionable usenet news
group. The other person on from a warez site or crack site. So I think it
is like going to Detroit, Chicago or Washington D.C. stay out of bad
neighborhoods.
