Hi everyone.

I thought I would relay some information that might be interesting to some
of you. I am preparing for a recital in April. One of the pieces I am
performing is the Howells Sonata. It is a beautiful work, and one of the
greatest British clarinet pieces. In my research of this composer and piece
I found out that a new edition of the Christopher Palmer biography of
Howells has recently been released.

The book, entitled Herbert Howells: A Centenary Celebration is available
from Thames Publishing in the UK. The price is @-----.pounds (does the
