Hi all,
This might have been brought up already, if so I missed it. In my teaching
I use hot glue sticks to perform emergency repairs. You can melt the glue
with a lighter, keep it in you reed box or desk drawer. It is a secure
bond to the pad cup and by heating the cup you can get the pad to release.
On nice thing is the glue doesn't let go if you are going in and out of the
cold like shellac sticks sometimes do.
Seasons Greetings!
Mike Moors
P.S. I couldn't pass up this opportunity to plug my web page. You can get
the address off of my signature file. It has over 40 clarinet links,
animated graphics, crescendo enhanced sound and much more. If you haven't
already been there give it a visit. If you know of any other clarinet
links that are good let me know.
