Mitchell Lurie is a fairly good brand of reeds. I find a big difference
between them and the Ricos. I would reccomend Vandorens. They are
more expensive than Ricos or Luries, but I LOVE the sound that I get
>from them.
BTW, I'm a 9th grader, and since I've switched to Vandorens in the middle
of 8th grade, I've been sitting higher in the band and have been more
successful in competitions.
Good Luck!
