Don't do it! This isn't something you can do yourself without
proper training.

No, super glue is definitely not a good idea. Technicians use a glue
that melts so that they can heat the cup up and position the pad just
right. Its not easy to do without practice. I think I can guarantee
that if you try this without supervision by someone who knows how to
do it you will end up with an instrument that doesn't play at all.
