David,
I used to play on an HS* and found it to be very closed and hard to
play. I have tried the 5Rvlyre and found it to be very open and too
free blowing. I recommend the B45 to my students. It has a nice
focused sound, but is not hard to blow like the HS*. It would be worth
a try.
Just try different mouthpieces to see which one works for you.
