Join your schools Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Band etc... I guess I can't
speak for the music program at your school, but here at Tufts, which has a
fairly small program (the really serious people are doing 5 year NEC
programs) has a number of different group where people of a number of
different abilities/interests can find their niche. I play in our
pep/marching band (sax) and in our Wind Ensemble. I know our program is
fairly relaxed (ok not the Orchestra... but what else is new) and are
always looking for new members.Assuming you can show signs of life, unless
it is a really competitive program, there must be a place you can get your
feet wet...I think a lot of directors will understand you are getting back
into it. Also, I do believe (we do) most school offer lessons in some for
or another...

Psychiatrists say that one out of four people are mentally ill. Check
three friends. If they're OK, you're it.
