Gary Van Cott asked about music for four clarinets. I have a CD (Koch
Schwann Musica Mundi 310 067 H1) of contemporary clarinet quartets by the
Wurttembergisches Klarinettenquartett which includes the following:

Alfred Uhl, Divertimento for three clarinets and bass clarinet. This is 15
minute, three movement work.

Rudorf Jettel, Quartet for three clarinets and bass clarinet - This is also
three movements and about 17 minutes.

There are two other works on the CD, but both involve the basset horn:

Hanns Jelinek, Divertimento, Op. 15,8 (for Eb, Bb, basset horn and bass)

Robert Stark, Serenade, Op. 55 (for two clarinets, basset horn and bass).
