Christopher,

Can you provide more details? This is like a fantasy come true for me!
I still have my last "good" Morre reed (from 1989) in one of my reed
cases -- I kept it for luck! I played that sucker until it died,
clipping and reshaping several times. It still plays, but not well
enough. (It's probably too short!) Did they come in a small dark red
box? Were they in German-style strengths (i.e. 2-1/4 and 2-1/2)? Oh,
please answer my post at your earliest convenience -- I would happily
pay $25 or $30 a box for these gems!!!

Christopher is indeed right -- Marks still carries Morres. (So my =
earlier e-mail to the contrary is wrong.) I called Marks two days ago =
and ordered some 2.5 French cuts = (I think) $24 per box of 12 =
(presumably still in the little red box). The man with whom I spoke =
said they also carry German cut. He said when their supply runs out =
they can't get any more. I don't know how large a stock Marks still =
has. Give them a call at (412) 347-7629. Morres are indeed gems. =
Incidentally, Marks has an ad on page 90 of the Nov/Dec 1996 The =
Clarinet.
